Day 1:
How am I supposed to live a "normal" life now, knowing what I know? I'm getting kind of tired of having to tone it down to "fit in." The things I used to find extremely important don't matter much anymore. Everything has been turned upside down. I am not at all who I thought I was, or who I thought I wanted to be. Very few people are, actually. It's still best for me not to talk about this stuff during casual encounters with neighbours or relatives, it's just easier to keep my mouth shut. But here, in this cyber-space, I will share what I have been going through because I know that you, the person experiencing a similar spiritual journey, is out there. Together, we are slowly creating the new normal. Let's talk about it.
Day 2:
I find myself needing more silence, more space, more stillness. Lately, I have been sitting quietly to inquire about what is bubbling deep within. Very often, what comes up is not pretty: frustration, irritation, fears, anxiety. The old me would have done anything to avoid going there. Washing the toilets was more pleasant. Now, I observe and try to release emotional discomfort as soon as I feel it inside. If I am able to go there, it's because I am starting to integrate the notion that I am not my emotions. I am the one watching the emotions. It sounds like dissociation, but it's not. It's the beginning of true sanity. Gangaji would say that if we can find peace in the midst of hell, then we are truly free. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get closer to that true freedom. What about you?
Day 3:
The construction outside my house -a loud cement truck repairing sidewalks- reminds me of the density of this 3rd dimension. There is so much more to this life than meets the eye and the senses, yet it's so incredibly easy to forget this daily. Who are we? What are we doing here? Where are we investing our precious mental and physical energy? What are our true motivations behind the things we do?
Day 4:
How frequently I forget to breathe properly! My body instantly tenses up when my breath is shallow. Deep breath now. There, that's better. Bet you did it too! :)
Day 5:
Gardening is my spiritual practice. In the silence of the garden, I am able to hear my repetitive and sometimes obsessive thoughts loud and clear. I sometimes smile, breathe, and keep on weeding with a joyful heart. Other times, I completely forget that I am not my thoughts, and gardening suddenly loses its charm! Do you have a spiritual practice?
Thanks for reading. I will be posting weekly for the next little while. Feel free to share your comments below.

Free Energy To Raise the Consciousness of your Home Anyone?
What if you could receive an uplifting wave of free energy that raised the consciousness of your home or business. Would you be willing to try it out for free for a couple of weeks? What would the benefits be? How about better health, increased well-being, more clarity and concentration, heightenend creativity, deeper sleep, emotional balance, more abundance, increased energy, improved relationships and clearing of old negative patterns. It sounds too good to be true, doesn't it?
FLFE innovations Corp. (Focused Life Force Energy) is a Canadian company located in British Columbia that offers precisely what I described above. Although what is being offered sounds a little flaky, or maybe even ridiculous to some, it's really worth looking into. But don't take my word for it! Try it out for yourself. You really have nothing to lose. You don't even need to give out a credit card number to start receiving this instant wave of uplifting energy. How did I hear about FLFE?
I discovered Focused Life Force Energy this week by watching an interview on Gaia. For those of you familiar with Gaia, Regina Meredith was interviewing the founders of FLFE, Clayten Stedmann and Jeffrey Stegman. These men have devoted many years of their lives to accessing and utilizing high consciousness fields for deep healing on all levels. I've included the link to the interview below, but it will only work for the next 48 hours.
In the interview, Clayten and Jeff talked about the work of the late Dr. David Hawkins (map of consciousness), how it's possible to calibrate levels of consciousness via kinesiology, and how this method is not always reliable. They were looking for alternative ways to measure and raise levels of consciousness.
On a personal note, I always thought it would be cool to have some kind of device capable of reading our exact energetic frequency, or level of consciousness. And what about our home, our workplace, our school, our city or our country? Wouldn't it be enlightening to know what kind of energetic bath we spend most of our time marinating in? Our energetic environment obviously affects us tremendously, whether we are aware of it or not. Well, I was blown away by what I heard in this interview.
Jeff and Clayten went on to explain that one of their colleagues, an inventor, had created what was originally meant to be a free energy device, but instead, what he discovered was a way to redirect and focus large amounts of life force energy (subtle energy, chi, prana) on an object. Today, after many years of research and development, the device can read the exact consciousness level of a person, place and country! Not only that, but it can instantly broadcast a high consciousness wave to specific remote locations around the world, using only an address. You guessed it, this instantly raises consciousness levels! How is this possible? Think quantum physics.
I am including a link of the Gaia interview with the founders of FLFE that will only be functional for the next 48 hours. You can also learn more about them at www.flfe.net

Words of Wisdom From A Seedling
For the past few months, I, like many, have been feeling the weight of the world. I have been struggling to keep my focus on positive, constructive things. I have been experiencing the fear, the insecurity and the anxiety that seem to be the dominant collective vibration lately.
But today, I feel hopeful again. I have been inspired by a tiny morning glory seedling that I planted just five days ago. This morning, I welcomed it into our world. It emanates a peaceful and serene energy. It doesn't seem to care about Trump, or the environment, or the debt in the U.S. It just is.
Envious of its stillness, I picked up little Morning Glory and asked it what its secret was. It whispered something in my ear. It was a quote from Nisargadatta Maharaj: "A quiet mind is all you need. All else will happen rightly, once your mind is quiet. As the sun on rising makes the world active, so does self-awareness affect changes in the mind. In the light of calm and steady self-awareness, inner energies wake up and work miracles without any effort on your part."
Huh! Impressed by this little plant's knowledge and wisdom, I replied : But Morning Glory, there is no denying that we are now living in a challenging time of extremes. We are experiencing a profound shift that is urging us to let go of the old paradigms that no longer serve us. We're experiencing it both on a collective and on a personal level. Our old structures and systems are collapsing, and the shadow parts of ourselves that we have been unwilling to acknowledge and integrate are now coming to the surface. This is a terrifying process! How can we keep our minds quiet through this chaos?
Morning Glory must have been channeling Nisargadatta Maharaj, because she replied with another quote from him: "There are always moments when one feels empty and estranged. Such moments are most desirable, for it means the soul has cast its moorings and is sailing for distant places. This is detachment - when the old is over and the new has not yet come. If you are afraid, the state may be distressing, but there is really nothing to be afraid of. Remember the instruction: Whatever you come across - go beyond."
Wow. And THAT, my friends, is why I love gardening! Never underestimate the wisdom of plants!
All the best,

Answer To The Anonymous Question I Received...
The Universe has amazed me once again with synchronicity. Just last night, I was somehow drawn to watch interviews with Byron Katie -an American woman who struggled through 10 years of depression, rage and self-loathing and who spontaneously woke up one morning in a state of constant joy that has not left her for 22 years. What transformed her life? Byron Katie suddenly understood that when she believed her own thoughts, she suffered, and when she simply questioned these, life became effortless.
After her major awakening, Byron Katie created a simple 4-question process called "The Work" that helps people break free from their limiting thoughts. She has helped millions with The Work and Byron Katie is now known all over the world. She has written many best-selling books, was featured on countless shows such as Oprah and is in high demand for workshops and public speaking everywhere. You can imagine how thrilled I was when she agreed to be featured on my website in a interview for Conscious Living Solutions in August 2015.
Like I said, last night, for some reason, I wanted to know more about Byron Katie even though I had already interviewed her in the past. Her process really resonated with me and reminded me that we are not our thoughts. Some authors, such as Eckhart Tolle, are brilliant at explaining this concept, but when it comes to applying it in our daily lives, it can be a little overwhelming and discouraging. Byron Katie figured out an easy, practical way for people to start freeing themselves from their minds -which is the most direct path to end suffering. It's free, available on her website and accessible to all.
"I really wanted to start my spiritual journey, but what troubles me the most are my thoughts. I get afraid of things that I have never done and these thoughts continue to wander in my mind until I become frustrated. I have learnt that thoughts create our reality according to the law of attraction and these thoughts which are actually my fear are generated again and again against my wish. These thoughts can actually become my reality. Tell me what I can do to stop these thoughts."
As soon as I read this message, I knew that the best resource I could offer would be "The Work" of Byron Katie! We can't stop our thoughts, but we can become more aware of them. We can remind ourselves that who we truly are is much more than our thoughts. We can invite more stillness into our lives in order to allow ourselves to experience the deep peace of being without the compulsive need to do, or think all the time.
Whoever you are, dear anonymous friend, I hope this helps! Thanks for your question. You are mirroring what millions of others are also asking at this time. I believe that we were somehow connected through your question, the web, Byron Katie and my sudden impulse to watch her videos last night! The Universe works in miraculous ways!

Are We Being Honest With Ourselves?
Why is this happening to me again?
Did you ever notice that we re-experience painful scenarios over and over again until we finally learn what we need to change in our life? The people, situations and places may change, but we all have recurring issues that keep recreating themselves until we learn our lessons. Life is designed this way to facilitate our evolution.
No, that's not me...
For some, the issues revolve around dysfunctional relationships. For others, it's more about self-worth, or control. Whatever the theme is, we will continue to experience uncomfortable, negative emotions until we get right down to the root of the problem. Denial and suppression of these negative feelings will only work for a short time, since repressed energies get stored in our emotional body and can create illness. We can run, but we can't hide!
I feel great!
It's time to be honest with ourselves. What is causing us the greatest sadness, anger, anxiety, fear, frustration or apathy in our life right now? Do we want to keep running away from these negative feelings, or do we want to finally free ourselves from them? Yes, it may be terrifying to face our shadow -our dark side- but it's the only way to remove the phenomenal power it has over us.
Emotional energy drain
Whether we realise it or not, it takes incredible amounts of energy to keep these shameful aspects hidden from our awareness. Instead of wasting our energy trying to deny our wounds, we could release this energy and use it to manifest a fulfilling, empowered life. To be free from the weight of our repressed negative emotions, we first have to accept them, reintegrate them and then release them.
Wound? What wound?
The good news is that life gives us so many opportunities to do this. Each time we feel annoyed, frustrated, angry, fearful, sad or just plain numb, it's because something on the outside has touched our wound on the inside. If we didn't have a wound in the first place, then we wouldn't feel so vulnerable. We wouldn't use projection to blame others for how we are feeling inside. At the core of this wound is a deep fear that we are powerless, that we are too insignificant to make a real difference in this world. Is this true?
Our thoughts create our reality...
What do you think would happen to the world if everybody started to accept, reintegrate and release their own negative emotions in appropriate ways? If we were comfortable with our own "dark side", we would stop blaming others for theirs. We could help each other to nurture our more positive qualities by tipping the scale from global fear and competition to universal love, compassion, forgiveness and cooperation. Do you think our leaders could get away with some of the things we are seeing today if the majority of humans resonated at the higher frequency of Love? No!
Who am I?
When we respond to events with fear and negativity, unfortunately, we are reinforcing and supporting the old paradigm of separation. It helps to ask this question: who am I? Am I merely a separate, isolated, physical being, or a deeply connected, eternal, spiritual being? When we experience fear, it's usually from the perspective of the ego-self.
The greatest awakener = suffering
The time has come for us to face our individual and collective shadows. We can all see that things aren't right on the planet. We are all well-aware of the collective suffering that seems to be increasing. That's because suffering is the greatest awakener. If we don't learn our lessons and evolve, life teaches us the hard way. Is this the route we are collectively choosing? Unfortunately, it seems like it.
What can I do?
When we each have the courage to face our individual shadow, this reduces our collective shadow, and it reconnects us to the most powerful forces on earth: Love, compassion, forgiveness and cooperation. These are necessary to ensure our survival. We cannot truly be light workers unless we reintegrate, love and forgive our own darkness.

Anyone Else Feeling Like Crap Lately?
Feeling Like Crap...
For the past couple of days, I've been feeling a little down, sad and fearful of our future. At the core of these negative emotions was a feeling of powerlessness towards the state of our planet. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, as I sense that this feeling of powerlessness is embedded in our collective consciousness right now. The negativity is simply overwhelming.
"Us" Versus "Them"...
Everyday, we see examples of people reinforcing the illusion of our separation from each other. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of us have bought into the "us" versus "them" mentality. The "me" versus "you" mentality is exactly the same, by the way. Science now confirms we are all connected in a unified field of consciousness. We are all One.
This means that when our brothers and sisters thrive, this positively affects us. It also means that when they suffer -whether on a physical, mental or emotional level - this negatively affects us as well. We may not be consciously aware of this entanglement, thanks to the ego's mechanisms, but we are indeed electromagnetically connected to each other (look up the quantum entanglement experiment). It's no wonder that we can all feel the heaviness in the field right now.
Apples and Oranges...
So how can we deal with this negativity? Personally, I've been feeling confused by three overlapping issues that I think should be addressed separately:
1) What is the best, most effective way to actually take a stand for what we believe to be right in the world? Can we make a difference?
2) How do we deal with our own negative emotions? How can we remain aware of what's going on in the world without constantly feeling depressed, powerless or numb?
3) How can we decipher truth from falsehood? Are we being told the truth? Are we being manipulated on a large scale? How can we explain the apathy of so many people?
Hocus Focus...
Let's start with #2 -How to deal with our own negative emotions. It all starts here. First of all, we control what we focus on. Emily Maroutian's quote beautifully explains this:
"Energy is the currency of the universe. When you “pay” attention to something, you buy that experience. So when you allow your consciousness to focus on someone or something that annoys you, you feed it your energy, and it reciprocates with the experience of being annoyed. Be selective in your focus because your attention feeds the energy of it and keeps it alive, not just within you, but in the collective consciousness as well."
Our Digital Addiction...
Sometimes, despite our best intentions, we get exposed to stuff that brings us down. Since we're all interconnected, particularly through the internet nowadays, our focus is largely influenced by the collective focus. These days, it ain't the most uplifting!
When we're not feeling resilient, when we are emotionally vulnerable, we should probably be extremely careful about what we expose ourselves to. I'm not saying to live in a vacuum, or to be in denial about the world, but to CHOOSE the best moments to educate ourselves about current events that have the potential to suck the energy right out of us. When we feel powerless, depressed, numb or apathetic, we can't make any positive changes, and in fact, we bring down the collective energy of our planet, making it harder for others to find solutions.
Oops! Too Late...
But many of us get contaminated with fear and negativity on a daily basis! Now what? The only way to release negative emotions is by embracing them and expressing them appropriately. The 4-minute video below beautifully illustrates how emotions get stuck in our body, and how to release them:
Recharge Your Battery...
Once we are back in alignment with our higher-self, we feel better, and we become much more resilient, empowered and inspired. It's only in this state that we can truly make positive changes in the world. This answers question #1 -What's the most effective way to make a difference in the world?
Spiritual-Emotional Armour...
If we want to be activists, peaceful warriors or freedom-fighters, we have to be dressed properly for the job! We have to plug into the Source that creates our shield of power and emotional resilience. We can't go out on the battlefield in a vulnerable, wounded state of anger, fear, sadness or resistance and expect to make a positive difference.
Here is a 30-second video that teaches a heart-coherence technique to instantly neutralize the effects of stress and negativity. It works!:
Did You Forget?
When we get overwhelmed with negative emotions, including apathy, it's especially easy to forget or to underestimate that our greatest power is within. By creating a loving, compassionate, empowered energy field that emanates from our heart, we affect everyone around us. We are literally changing the world by saying "no" to the negativity and fear that we are being fed daily.
This brief video with Gregg Braden lifted my spirits instantly:
Illuminati? New World Order?
Now what about question # 3 -How can we decipher truth from falsehood? Are we being told the truth? Are we being manipulated on a large scale? How can we explain the apathy of so many people? I recently discovered the very well produced documentary called "Thrive" (see preview below). Although it was released in 2011, it's still very relevant today.
Could we be controlled by a powerful elite, a cabal? Should we take the Illuminati's plans of a New World Order seriously? I thought this was just conspiracy-theory fiction, until I started hearing it over and over again from an increasing number of respectable sources. I'm not sure what to think at this point. I would love to hear what you think, but please do NOT watch this if you are feeling emotionally vulnerable right now! Although this documentary proposes solutions to the problems they are exposing, it can still be very unsettling to watch.
That being said, you can watch the entire movie for free -available in 27 languages- by streaming it right here: http://www.thrivemovement.com/the_movie
Join the Force, not the Dark Side...
Regardless if we are being told the truth or not, it's important to remember what we discussed in questions # 1 and # 2. How we respond to our circumstances positively or negatively influences the field that connects and affects us all.
Feeling negative emotions is not bad in itself. Feeling crappy is an important signal that tells us we are off track. We are simply not aligned with what serves our best interests -from a spiritual perspective. To release these negative emotions, we have to become very aware of them and we have to stop feeding them with more negative thoughts and focus. Once we free ourselves from the negativity and get realigned with our Source of power, we are then in the best position to change the world.
Here's What You Can Do Now...
Please join me today in creating a beautiful field of love, compassion and joy around ourselves. This field will extend out to our communities, our countries and our planet. Breathe deeply in and out of your heart area, focus on something that makes you feel joyful. Let that energy radiate around you. Thank you for making a difference! Thank you for sharing this with others.
Much Love,
Lise
